By day, Andelin Family Farm is the wholesome one: pumpkin patch, baby animals, a five-acre corn maze, kids everywhere. Then the sun goes down on haunt nights and the corn stops being cute.

Corn Creepers is a haunted walkthrough cut through a real cornfield, staffed by roughly 50 actors a night, with new scenes added in recent seasons. Corn at night does something a warehouse can’t: you’re outdoors, sightlines die at every row, and the rustling behind you might be wind. The farm pairs it with Zombie Paintball Apocalypse, a ride-on battle wagon where you shoot glowing paintballs at the approaching horde. Paintball is fine for kids 6 and up with an adult; the walkthrough is honestly scary, and the farm says so.

There’s a smart mercy rule: buy a glow necklace and the actors dial it back for you, which makes this the best on-ramp haunt in the area for first-timers and brave kids.
