The Final Hour
Ten thousand square feet of slasher-movie warehouse.
The Final Hour is the scrappy independent of the Reno scene. It opened in 2022 inside Meadowood Mall, part of the same wave that brought Dark Corner to downtown, then moved to a roughly 10,000-square-foot warehouse on Deming Way in Sparks for the 2025 season, where it has room to breathe and no mall hours to respect. It runs until midnight on haunt nights, the latest show in the area.
The theming leans hard into slasher-movie territory. Reviewers name-drop Art the Clown, and the walkthrough builds to a chainsaw finale that sends most groups out the exit at a sprint. One Google reviewer called the cast “phenomenal,” and that tracks with the haunt’s reputation: it’s an actor-driven show more than an animatronic showcase.
Fair warning from the review pile: on busy nights the timed slots have run behind, so weeknights are the smoother trip. It holds a 4.6 Google rating across 52 reviews, and its $30 ticket makes it the cheapest full-scale walkthrough in the area.
