Killer Clown Corn Maze at Ferrari Farms
Clowns loose in a hand-cut Reno cornfield.
This one has been scaring people for at least two seasons. Ferrari Farms, the Mill Street family farm that’s run its fall festival for nearly three decades, flips its five-acre corn maze into Reno’s Giant Killer Clown Corn Maze on five October nights: Saturdays the 3rd, 10th, 17th, and 24th, plus Friday the 30th, from 7 to 10 pm.
The maze itself is the real thing. Frank Ferrari cuts it by hand each season, with trick corners and dead ends that are disorienting enough in daylight. After dark, with clowns in it, five acres of corn gets long. The farm’s daytime festival is free to enter with free parking, and the haunted maze is $15 for adults and $10 for kids 10 and under, which makes it the cheapest haunt ticket in the area.
The fine print: tickets are sold in person only, by cash, Zelle, Venmo, or Cash App, and beyond the poster the farm publishes little, so check its Facebook page before you drive out. The farm’s 4.3 Google rating covers the whole daytime operation, not the night maze specifically.
If you’ve walked it, rate it below and tell the next group how scary it actually runs.
