The Zombie Crawl is Reno’s Halloween at city scale. Crawl Reno turns downtown into a single sprawling party: around 20,000 costumed crawlers, more than 40 bars, and drink specials everywhere a crawl cup is honored. It kicks off at Circus Circus with Silver Legacy, Eldorado, and J Resort in the mix, and USA Today has ranked it among the ten best costumed Halloween events in the country.
It’s not a haunt, there are no scare actors, and nobody jumps out at you except other drunks in makeup. It earns its place in this guide anyway. If you’re 21+, it’s the biggest Halloween night out Northern Nevada offers. The 2026 date is already locked: Saturday, October 17.
